Syracuse High School opened in 2007.
The school is located in Syracuse, Utah. It is part of the Davis County School District. The city of Syracuse is located west of Interstate-15 in Davis County. Although named Syracuse High School, students who attend the school come from several communities.
The school mascot is the Titan. We have a variety of logos, most often a block “S” is used. Our official school colors are navy blue, forest green, and white. However, many other color combinations are used.
Syracuse High School is a member of the Utah High School Activities Association. It competes in the largest classification in Utah, Class 6A. It is currently assigned to Region I of Class 6A. Syracuse was a part of Region I for the first 7 years it was open. From 2014-2016 Syracuse competed in Region II. In 2017 the Titans returned to Region I and moved up a class to 6A with the new state alignment. The current Region I teams are shown below.
The Titans Track and Field program has produced multiple State Champions. In addition the Titans have set multiple state records in Utah.
State Records in Class 5A: Kayla Rees (300 Hurdles), Hunter Woodhall (200, 400 Meters), and the 4 x 400 meter Relay team (Tanner Kutterer, Dahson Arave, Nathan Kaufusi, and Hunter Woodhall).
State Records in Class 6A include: Nathan Kaufusi (100, 400 Meters), Brittany Cardall (300 Hurdles), Kamryn Wiese (High Jump), Lexi Wightman (Pole Vault), the girls 4 x 100 meter Relay (Kamryn Wiese, Kelsey Steed, Sarah Wynn, Brittany Cardall), and the boys 4 x 400 meter Relay team (Trevor Burrell, Scott Davies, Ty Burke, and Nathan Kaufusi)
There have been several athletes who have moved on to the college ranks to continue their track and field careers. The track team has been fortunate to have many great athletes participate and excel.
Region I schools:
